Homeland Preview: Extended Trailer For Showtime's Psychological Thriller Series

Showtime released an extended trailer for their exciting-looking upcoming new drama series Homeland. In addition to a peek at some tense moments, series stars Claire Danes, Damian Luis and Mandy Patinkin, the trailer also features a few glimpses of Morena Baccarin (Firefly, V).

Homeland is set to premiere on October 2nd at 10/9c, following the Season 6 premiere of Dexter. The series is described as a psychological thriller, which follows a CIA officer (played by Claire Danes), who is convinced a recently recovered POW (played by Damian Lewis) is somehow connected to an Al Qaeda plot on U.S. soil. Mandy Patinkin is Danes’ character’s boss and mentor, and Baccarin has been cast to play Damian Lewis’ character’s wife. You’ll see her (looking gorgeous as always) in the extended trailer below, and the photo posted just below it.
