Mike Tyson's Drake Impression Is The Greatest Thing You'll See All Day

There’s something endlessly entertaining about a celebrity willing to poke fun at himself on national television, and Mike Tyson on his recent appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon rose to the occasion in the most hilarious way. Now, between his larger-than-life personality and – let’s be honest – distinctive lisp, Mike Tyson is one of the most highly meme-able famous faces in the biz. When faced with a meme of himself struggling through the S-heavy lyrics to Drake’s “Hotline Bling,” Tyson did the only thing that he could: take up a microphone and launch into the chorus himself.

Check out Tyson’s rendition of “Hotline Bling” starting at 2:10 below!

Mike Tyson gets endless credit for being willing to poke fun at himself on The Tonight Show, awesomely laughing off the meme. Between his quick grab for a microphone and his hip-wiggling dance moves, we can at least give him credit for fearlessness.

Despite his own case of the giggles, Jimmy Fallon did have to rein Tyson in a few times when the former boxer started forcing the editors to break out the bleep button, but we all have to be grateful that he let Tyson continue long enough in his rendition of “Hotline Bling” to get to the dubious-for-network “big bone.”

Of course, Mike Tyson didn’t come onto The Tonight Show with the express purpose of giving us great footage that gets us watching the same clip over and over again. He was actually on to promote the upcoming second season premiere of his show Mike Tyson Mysteries.

If you haven’t heard of Mike Tyson Mysteries, there’s a good reason. The show is actually an animated show airing on the diminutive Adult Swim that features Tyson solving mysteries in a style that more or less recalls Scooby-Doo. The first season aired for ten episodes, and the second premieres on November 1.

An animated show for Adult Swim may seem like a surprising reason for a guest to make it onto The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, but Mike Tyson is a guest with a big personality sure to make an impression on viewers. Sure, Jimmy Fallon alternated between looking terrified and tickled to death, but even he was not immune to the hilarity of Mike Tyson’s Drake impression.

Mike Tyson Mysteries returns to the airwaves at 12:15 a.m. ET on Adult Swim. In addition, Mike Tyson doing a hilarious Drake impression returns to your laptop and/or smartphone whenever you feel like laughing hysterically. The only downside is that you might get Tyson's version of "Hotline Bling" stuck in your head... and the original will never measure up again.
