Premiere Dates…Enough With The Changes!

The networks think we’re not confused enough, so they’ve changed the premiere dates of a few shows. ABC’s Cashmere Mafia, originally scheduled to drop on Thursday, Jan. 3, is now premiering on Sunday, Jan. 6, at 10 p.m., before settling into its regular time slot Wednesday, Jan. 9, at 10 p.m.
The series stars Lucy Liu, Frances O’Connor, Miranda Otto, and Bonnie Somerville as four hip girls who reign supreme in NYC executive suites, even as their personal lives are crashing and burning. And is it pathetic that I’m disproportionately excited to see Tom Everett Scott in this show? No? Ok, then. That thing he does gets to me every time.
Meanwhile, The Celebrity Apprentice from NBC is now launching Thursday, Jan. 10, at 9 p.m. The weirdly-coiffed one returns to the boardroom once again, this time dragging along such stars as Nadia Comaneci, Marilu Henner, Carol Alt, Gene Simmons, and a bunch of other people who can’t find a job elsewhere on the networks. Oh yeah, I’m really excited about this show.
