Subscribe To Quentin/Rodriguez Classic Grindhouse On Starz March 31 Updates
I totally dig Quentin Tarantino. His eclectic, non-traditional style is great, because it isn’t the same old crap that Hollywood generates. In fact, Pulp Fiction premiered my senior year in high school/freshman year of college, and my first date with the guy that I ended up marrying was to see this incredible film. I’d already seen it three times, but he was hot, and I loved the movie, so I said yes when he asked…

Last year, Mr. Tarantino added to his lengthy list of feature films with the double feature project with Robert Rodriguez, Grindhouse. The film apparently was envisioned by the pair during a film viewing at Quentin’s house, where he did a double feature of two B movies, and Rodriguez suggested they pair up and make their own.

The critics loved the double feature, and the included trailers directed by Rodriguez, Rob Zombie (Halloween, The Devil’s Rejects), Edgar Wright (Shaun of the Dead) and Eli Roth (Hostel, Hostel: Part II) (from a Press Release), but the movie did not do as well as expected.

I did not make it out to see the flick, and I am guessing several of you missed it too. So, set your DVR’s and get ready - March 31 at 9:00 P.M. (et/pt) Grindhouse will be aired in it’s entirety on Starz.

Die hard fans, please don’t stone me for suggesting that anyone should DVR rather than buying the Director’s Cut Complete Boxed Set – some people just want to see it, they don’t want to relive it every Friday night…
