Rapper 2 Chainz Will Guest Star In 2 Broke Girls

Looks like 2 Chainz might be picking up a couple of groupies in the form of two broke ladies. The Grammy-nominated rapper is set to appear as himself in a guest role on an upcoming episode of 2 Broke Girls, which will air the day after the Grammy Awards broadcast.

The episode will air on February 11th, according to EW. 2 Chainz is up for three Grammy awards at this year's ceremony: Best Rap Performance, Best Rap Song, and Best Rap Album for his 2012 release Based on a TRU Story. His guest spot on 2 Broke Girls marks his first appearance on a scripted program, although he will still be appearing as himself, so there won’t be a whole lot of acting involved. He has previously appeared on TV as a musical guest on Saturday Night Live and Jimmy Kimmel Live!, among others.

The episode will bring the show’s two female stars, Kat Dennings and Beth Behrs, face-to-face with the rap star when they board a private plane. They get the invite thanks to a record label employee who has taken an interest in Dennings character, Max, and through his connections, the employee invites the two women to attend the awards with him in Los Angeles. 2 Chainz will apparently be on board the plane as well, assumedly headed for the awards show, although we’ll already know what, if anything, he won by the time the episode airs.

2 Broke Girls airs on CBS on Monday nights at 9 p.m. EST.
