New Roger Ebert Show To Premiere In January

Let me be the first to say it’s about damn time. This movie review business of ours can sometimes be filled with in-fighting and bickering amongst critics, but I don’t know a single person that isn’t grateful for all Roger Ebert has done for us. With grace, sophistication and most of all talent, he single handedly showed us all what we could be, and when health problems forced him to cancel his beloved weekly TV series, it felt like the end of an era. Turns out not so much.

Roger Ebert took to his blog to glowingly announce 81% of stations have picked up his new Roger Ebert Presents At The Movies with new ones adding everyday. Not too many details are known about the movie review show except that it will air weekly and participants will use the iconic Siskel and Ebert thumbs up and thumbs down. The beloved critic will also contribute regular segments himself, along with a slew of as yet to be announced supports.

Roger Ebert Presents At The Movies will begin airing on January 21st, 2011. Check your local listings for time and channel.
