Depending on where you live, the weather is likely to be getting cooler these days. As winter approaches for us, summer is coming for Shameless, and the characters appear to have found a cost-efficient way to cool off from the summer heat in the new key art released by Showtime today.
Shameless is based on a British series, and follows a lower class family trying to get by in Chicago. Season 2 picks up this January with the Gallaghers battling the heat as summer hits.
The poster below states, “The Smashed Hit Returns!” and given Frank’s frequent state of inebriation, I’d say Showtime chose the right words there. The Gallaghers are cooling off thanks to a busted fire hydrant.
Shameless Season 2 premieres January 8th at 9:00 p.m. ET on Showtime.
