Sharknado 2: The Second One Preview Shows Shark Terror On The Subway

There's a storm coming to New York and it's full of sharks! Syfy gave us a look at their upcoming Sharknado followup Sharknado 2: The Second One, which teaches a harsh lesson to some city commuters about the dangers of subway-riding during a Sharknado. We also get to see some tension between Sharknado returner Ian Ziering and Mark McGrath's character, Martin Brody, who's apparently trying to date Fin's sister. Drama!

Judging by the video above, it looks like the storm has begun, and we know from at least one photo released that there's a baseball game involved in this TV movie...

That comes in handy later, as we see one Mets fan pummeling the subway-dwelling shark with a giant bat when the Sharknado makes its way into the tunnels...

We also see someone getting dragged by the shark...

Let's just assume that gravity, water and great fin-work is to credit for that shark being able to pull that person out of the car.

The shark eventually sets its sights on Fin...

Prior to full-blown chaos ensuing, we get a peek of a bunch of people waiting for the train, and that gives us a glimpse of Perez Hilton's cameo:

Also among the cast of Sharknado 2: The Second One is returning star Tara Reid, and guest stars Kelly Osbourne, Judd Hirsch, Juda Friedlander and Andy Dick.

Sharknado 2: The Second One airs Wednesday, July 30 at 9:00 p.m. ET on Syfy. And then we'll have Sharknado 3 to anticipate in 2015!
