Work It Cast Photo Shows Off The Double-Lives Of The Two Cross-Dressers In ABC's New Comedy

Among the series set to debut during Midseason 2012 is ABC’s new comedy Work It. The premise for the sit-com is ridiculous, and yet I can’t help but feel compelled to watch it. ABC released a cast photo for the show, which isn’t exactly subtle in demonstrating what’s going on in the lead character’s life.

Work It stars Ben Koldyke and Amaury Nolasco as two men who decide to dress up as women in order to get jobs. While Lee (Koldyke) is a family man with a wife and kids, Angel (Nolasco) is a single guy who loves the ladies. When positions for female sales reps open up, Lee and Angel get dressed up as women and apply for the jobs, beginning their double lives as secret cross-dressers in order to pay the bills. I expect life-lessons about gender roles and humorous antics uncomfortable undergarments to ensue.

As I said, the series sounds ridiculous, but I’m not above laughing at silly if it’s done right. Whether or not Work It is done right remains to be scene. In the meantime, here’s the art for the series, which is set to premiere at some point next year.
