Even Christian Bale Knows His Terminator Movie Sucked
When Terminator Salvation was released in 2009, it wound up being a bit of a clunker. Made with a stunning $200 million budget, the movie was not only poorly received by critics, but also underperformed in the United States and made a rather underwhelming $371 million worldwide.

The Theme Of These Terminator: Genisys Pictures Is Apparently O-Face
Some plot details tied to Terminator: Genisys were part of the EW article, and they raised more questions than answers. I’m thinking that a trailer for Genisys might be dropping soon, and that might clear things up. Because so far? No dice, O-Face film.

Why Terminator: Genisys Could Be A Franchise-Killing Disaster
In the years since 1991, when James Cameron's T2: Judgement Day was released, the Terminator franchise hasn't exactly been booming. It's finally set to come back next year in the form of Terminator Genisys, a reboot of sorts that is expected to launch a new trilogy, but if new reports are to be believed, then the franchise's future may not be that bright.

Why The MPAA Sucks At Its Job, According To Science
The Motion Picture Association Of America has basically been shown to be irrelevant thanks to a new study from The University Of Pennsylvania. Basically those who work for MPAA have become so desensitised to violence and sex on the big screen that R films from decades ago are now less offensive than modern-day PG13s.

Why James Cameron Is Done Caring About Terminator
James Cameron is well and truly finished even remotely being concerned with the Terminator franchise. For the time being at least. The legendary director is still hopeful that the upcoming addition to the series, Terminator: Genisys, will be fun, but he has declared that the franchise simply isn’t his problem anymore.

Terminator Genisys' Rating Is Not Going To Make You Happy
Terminator Genisys can either go one of two ways: it can either be a hard R rated specatcular or a PG-13 safety film. Two guesses which outcome looks more believable.

Terminator Producers Want To Shoot 2 Movies In A Row
Brash overconfidence might not be a new trend in Hollywood, but from a studio/ producing perspective it certainly is. We’re all very familiar with actors and directors blathering on about how brilliant and Earth-shattering their upcoming films will be, but only recently have producers started investing large pools of money on laying the groundwork for sequels on the assumption that their movies will be hits.

It has been revealed that young star is now being considered to play the son of Miles Dyson in the upcoming sci-fi reboot. Terminator Reboot Title Revealed For Better Or Worse
Admittedly a film’s title doesn’t necessarily speak to the quality of the project itself, but one of the most successful franchises in cinema should aim for something memorable and a little less innocuous. Is Dwayne Johnson Being Eyed For Terminator 5?
When G.I. Joe: Retaliation was released back in March, our own Sean O'Connell and Kristy Puchko were on such a Dwayne Johnson high that they imagined what other lagging series could use a boost from The Rock. After all, the actor has earned the nickname "Franchise Viagra" by rejuvenating not only G.I. Joe, but also the Fast & Furious movies (not to mention giving us a reason to care about Journey 2: The Mysterious Island).

Arnold Schwarzenegger Will Somehow Play The Terminator In Terminator 5
The whole point of Terminators, and the entire reason Arnold Schwarenegger was cast as the terrifying cyborg to begin with, is that they are superior to humans. Superior strength, superior looks, superior lack of empathy-- they are built to pull off all the things that humans can't. So what happens when a Terminator comes off the factory line and he's got… wrinkles? And jowls? Has something gone horribly wrong on the Skynet assembly line?

Arnold Schwarzenegger Confirms He Will Be Back For Terminator 5
Arnold Schwarzenegger had a very rough weekend. The Last Stand, the movie featuring his first starring role since 2003, absolutely bombed at the box office, opening in ninth place and making only $6.2 million (to put that in perspective, it made less than both Django Unchained and Les Miserables, which are both now in their fourth week of release).

Beyond this weekend's entertainment he also has the prison thriller The Tomb out later this year and he recently completed production on David Ayer's Ten.

Terminator 5 Will Be Rated R
Much like the Die Hard franchise before it, the folks behind Terminator Salvation made a huge mistake when they decided to make the movie PG-13. The only one in the series that isn't rated R, the move was made in the hopes of maximizing profits, but even that didn't work, as it managed to pull in only $125 million domestically on a $200 million budget.
