Hurray for late night TV, eh? On the Battlefield 3 blog it was confirmed that the first console footage of Battlefield 3 will make its debut on Jimmy Fallon, tonight. Yeah, it’s not a whole lot of time to get ready but it’s better sooner than later.

DICE’s Johan Dohl will stop by the Late Night set with Jimmy Fallon to show off the footage of actual gameplay for Battlefield 3 on the PlayStation 3. Hopefully it won’t just be some quick snippets of tank or helicopter gameplay while nothing really gets shown off.

Anyway, we’ll be sure to have the footage primed and ready for display here at Gaming Blend as soon as it becomes available. Maybe you should set your DVR just in case, though.
