Yesterday the Escalation DLC pack for PC finally launched, following on the heels of the Xbox 360 release. Today, Activision has confirmed that the CoD: Black Ops Escalation DLC pack for the PlayStation 3 is well on its way and arriving June 10th.

As stated in the press release…

Escalation brings you four all-new multiplayer maps, Hotel, Convoy, Zoo and Stockpile, along with Call of the Dead, a star-studded Zombie experience featuring famed director George A. Romero, Robert Englund, Sarah Michelle Gellar, Michael Rooker and Danny Trejo.

In addition to this, Treyarch will be hosting another double Exp weekend in celebration of the launch of Escalation for the PS3.

I suppose this would be a cheaper alternative than paying $60 for Modern Warfare 3 this fall, unless of course you don’t mind reskinned maps and a bucket full of new guns.
