Atari announced today that they and Rombax Games will be bringing Venetica to North America. It will be released on the Xbox 360, PS3, and PC in January 2011.
Venetica takes place in 16th century Venice. It stars a young woman named Scarlett who is trying to stop a necromancer before he destroys the world. The game is said to sport "action-packed battles" as well as "easy pick-up and play controls."
The game was developed by Frankfurt studio Deck13. It was originally released in Germany during the 2009 holiday season.
