Have you heard about the new fighting game, Kung-Fu Strike: The Warrior's Rise? Well, if you haven't you've heard about it today. The game was announced back in February as being an Xbox Live exclusive. Well, it's no longer an exclusive and it'll be launching next Tuesday for PC gamers.

Kung-Fu Strike is an old-school game. It utilizes new-school graphical effects but it's steeped in traditional beat-e'm-up gameplay. That's right, this is a single player or co-op beat-e'm-up game featuring kung-fu classic-style gameplay and fighting mechanics. We haven't had a game like this since...well, since Spyborgs. But no one played Spyborgs.

Anyway, gamers who want to get in on the action can look to do so next week and you can grab a quick taste of the combat with the uber-radical trailer for Kung-Fu Strike below. Check it out.

The game sports 28 different stages, fast-paced combat, counter-attacks, versus modes, and a calligraphy-ink art-style, similar to Street Fighter IV.

I'm glad QoocSoft has allowed a game like this to come to PC while it waits to in the long line-up of games waiting to be verified for release on the Live Arcade, at least PC gamers get to enjoy a little beat-e'm-up action even if they're getting the game as a hand-me-down.

We'll provide more videos and media coverage of the title leading up to release to give you an idea of what to expect from the game. In the meantime, keep an eye on Kung-Fu Strike: The Warrior's Rise for its release on Steam come July 24th. The game will release thereafter for the Xbox Live Arcade when Microsoft gets around to certifying it. For more info feel free to visit the Official Website.
