Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance Screenshots Reveal Black Raiden

Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance's protagonist Raiden will look a lot different at this year's Tokyo Game Show. Leaked screenshots from the TGS build of the game show Raiden clad in black.

Raiden's cybernetic ninja costume already looked amazing. Painting it black and giving Raiden a full face visor (pictures via NeoGAF) works wonders, though. Kojima Productions and PlatinumGames have mastered the art of techno-ninja fashion, it seems.

It's not clear whether this other costume gives Raiden any different abilities. Maybe it's a purely cosmetic option. Metal Gear games are typically full of Easter eggs for players to earn.

This year's Tokyo Game Show will run from September 20th to the 23rd. Konami will no doubt reveal the significance of Raiden's new black suit during the event.
