PSN Offers Nine New Titles At Discounted Ultimate Edition Pricing
If you’re looking to make some sweet deals on the digital marketplace in order to get in some cheap gaming through the holidays, then you might want to boot up the ole’ PlayStation 3 and head on over to the store. Beginning this week, multiple “Ultimate Editions” are being offered on the cheap, giving players a crack at some big titles at a much smaller price.
Announced via the PlayStation Blog and going live on the PlayStation Network last night, gamers can get an early jump on their post-Thanksgiving weekend shopping with deals on a selection of games packaged with all of their downloadable content. And if you’re a PlayStation Plus subscriber, you’ll be paying even less.
First up is the Ultimate Edition of Alice: Madness Returns. The game and its DLC usually runs for $31.97, but it can be yours for $19.99 or $15.99 with PS Plus.
Next up is Assassin’s Creed Brotherhood, which would usually set you back $39.99 with all of its DLC. The Ultimate Edition is marked down to $27.99, or $22.39 with Plus. One good assassin deserves another, though, so you can also pick up Assassin’s Creed Revelations, usually $53.99, for $49.99 ($39.99 with Plus).
Deus Ex: Human Revolution joins the lineup at $34.99 ($27.99 with Plus), marked down from $50.46. If FPS action is more your style, then you can snag Homefront, usually $58.95, for $19.99 ($15.99 with Plus).
Red Faction Armageddon also makes an appearance as an Ultimate Edition, going for $24.99 ($19.99 with Plus) rather than the usual $43.95. You can also pick up Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine for $29.99 ($23.99 with Plus), marked down from $79.97.
Finally, a pair of sequels wrap up the newest batch of Ultimate Editions. Mass Effect 2 can be yours for $34.99 ($27.99 with Plus) rather than $49.99, while Saints Row 2 will set you back $24.99 ($19.99 with Plus) rather than the usual $36.97.
