RAGE: The Sound And Art Trailer Stars John Goodman

You'd think that a RAGE trailer entitled "The Sound and Art" would talk about the game's art and sound. However, it actually...okay, yeah, that's exactly what it does.

Headlining the voice cast for RAGE is John Goodman. He plays Dan Hagar, one of the first characters the player encounters. He's described as a fatherly character, making him a good fit for Goodman's gruff-but-friendly voice.

The second half of the video focuses on the game's visuals. id Software co-founder John Carmack makes an appearance during this segment to say that the artists have managed to make the game look better than he thought the new engine, id Tech 5, could look.

RAGE will arrive on the PS3, Xbox 360 and PC on October 4th in North America and on the 7th in Europe.
