Harrison Krix, the prop artist who turned heads recently by making a real-life mock-up of a Portal gun, has just created another video game weapon. This time, it's the syringe wielded by Little Sisters in BioShock.
Rather than keeping his secret methods hidden away in a vault, Krix offers a step-by-step guide of how to make the syringe on his website. While it won't actually suck ADAM out of bodies, or make ADAM exist in the first place, the real-life syringe really does look a lot like its virtual counterpart. The red goo floating around in the syringe's receptacle is actually "RIT dye, clear hairgel and water."
Wonder which one he'll do next? The Lancer from Gears of War has already been done by someone else. What about one of those crazy epic weapons from World of Warcraft? A real-life Zin'rokh would be cool.
