Konami revealed the release date for one of the three versions of horror game Silent Hill: Shattered Memories today. It will be released for the Wii on December 8th.

Shattered is a remake of the first Silent Hill. It reworks the storyline a bit, and adds a new user interface. Also, the combat has been stripped out; you're armed only with a flashlight and cell phone so you'll need to skedaddle if any baddies show up. A new psych-profiling feature analyzes your choices and alters the game accordingly.

Following the Wii release, Shattered will make its way to the PSP and PS2. Konami promised that the street date for these two versions will be announced soon.
