Namco Bandai let loose a new batch of screenshots for Splatterhouse featuring the game’s survival arena mode and the various masks that can be unlocked throughout the slaughter-fest. I don’t really know what made Namco go out of their way to revive a franchise like Splatterhouse but I can’t really see how they could go wrong with it. For the most part, Splatterhouse looks pretty darn good and the visual aesthetic and gory art-style really make it stand out among all the other games this season.

The newest batch of screenshots for the hack-and-slash gib-fest feature the arena mode, which sees Rick and his not-so-trusty evil, magic mask from the underworld, taking on multiple foes with a variety of vomit-inducing, flesh-ripping weapons and brutal special moves. Not only are the arenas and baddies on display, but we also get to see a few alternate masks for Rick to wear, as well.

You can check out the new screenshots for the game below or head on over to the Official Website to learn more about Splatterhouse, which is due out on November 23rd for the Xbox 360 and PS3.
