Naughty Dog announced today that two changes are coming to Uncharted 2: Among Thieves's multiplayer this weekend. The first is a new playlist and the second is an experiment with the game mechanics.

The "Plunder Only" playlist is exactly what it sounds like. You'll have the option of playing matches just in the Plunder game mode. The second change, which Naughty stresses is temporary, is a health reduction. Player health in all matches will be reduced to 65% of normal.

The health change will be in effect from Friday, December 4 at 10 AM PST to Monday, December 7 at 11 AM PST. They'll then look at gamer feedback through their blog and a poll to determine whether to make a permanent tweak to player health.
