Summer is typically a slow time for gaming releases but PS3 shooter fans won't be bored. Naughty Dog expects the multiplayer beta for Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception to go live at the end of June.

IGN reports that the beta will begin on June 28th. However, you'll only get access at that date if you've got a voucher from a new copy of inFamous 2 or if you're a PlayStation Plus subscriber. Otherwise, you'll have to wait until July 4th. The beta will conclude on July 13th.

Beta participants will get to try out six competitive game modes: Team Deathmatch, 3-Team Deathmatch, Team Objective, Free For All, Plunder, and High Stakes. Plunder tasks teams with capturing treasure while preventing the other team from doing so. High Stakes allows you to risk your multiplayer XP and cash.

The beta will also include three co-op modes. No details have been revealed yet but IGN says an announcement is coming later this week.
