The awards don’t matter but the nominees do. It must be time for the MTV Movie Awards. They’ve announced their n 2009 nominees and you should care only because it’ll give you some idea of who will show up at the ceremony. Say what you want about the value of a Golden Popcorn, but the ceremony is at the least entertaining. It’s even more entertaining if they get the right people on stage. The right people in this case, would be someone with a sense of humor like Robert Downey Jr., and not a serious actor like Christian Bale.

Here’s the full list of 2009 MTV Award nominees.
