If you saw the first trailer for District 9 which debuted last week here, then you were probably disappointed by it’s pixilated, obscured aliens. The trailer, which played out like a COPS spoof with aliens instead of shirtless rednecks, went out of its way to show us as little as possible. Now though, there’s an alternative.

A new version of the trailer has appeared online over at the District 9 viral site MNU Spread Lies. In this version, the alien at the end is no longer pixilated. He’s visible, and you can see exactly what he looks like. He looks almost exactly like you probably thought he would.
