Explosively Hilarious Japanese Expendables Trailer

I remember reading somewhere once that when they took Laverne & Shirley overseas, international audiences were told the whole thing took place in an insane asylum, because that’s the only way it would ever make any sense to them. I don’t speak Japanese, so I have no way to imagine what the narrator’s actually saying in this Japanese trailer for The Expendables, but I’m imagining this: “Crazy Americans escape from a looney bin and go running around doing things that make no sense!” That’s just a guess.

Whatever he’s saying, the following Japanese trailer for The Expendables may be the greatest, most ridiculous, over the top trailer of the year. It’s like watching the original Japanese version of Iron Chef, before Food Network got hold of it and watered it down, but with more explosions. Take a look:
