Incredible Star Trek Images!

The floodgates have opened. After months of extreme secrecy, Paramount Pictures has at last started distributing real images from their new Star Trek movie, showing everything from the new Kirk and Spock, to exploding starships, to crew photos, to Eric Bana as the movie’s Romulan villain Nero!

The pictures are being handed out as exclusives, absolutely none of which are going to us. We’ve never been good at greasing palms. We’ll work on buttering up Paramount, meanwhile click on each of the images below to see them in high-res at the sites which Paramount has decided to gift with them:

I grew up on Startrek and it has been a positive, exciting and inspiring adventure. I am very happy to see them continue making movies and evolving these characters for future generations.

As with any "reimagining" I can just only hope they dont loose the original message of tolerance, hope, fun gadgets and "going boldly where no one has gone before" to the next generation. The show to me (up until voyager ) was always about more then shooting aliens, the original ideas need to be put back into play.

Anyone expecting lots of sliced heads and ticking going on during the film :-D
