Jeremy Irons Joins Wall Street Drama Margin Call

Today's press release from Myriad Pictures is the first I'm hearing of the indie film Margin Call, which is bizarre because it boasts a pretty incredible cast. Kevin Spacey, Demi Moore, Zachary Quinto, Penn Badgley, Simon Baker, Stanley Tucci and Mary McDonnell are already part of the film, which has been shooting in New York for three weeks already, and now they're adding Jeremy Irons for just that added dose of English class.

The films follows several Wall Street types during the 24 hours leading up to a near-collapse in the financial industry. Irons will play the chief executive of a financial firm, so presumably he'll need to practice his "panicked" face. JC Chandor is directing from the script he wrote himself, and with actors of that quality all on board, you can probably count on it being a good one.
