Ewan McGregor is taking a page from the career of Eddie Murphy. No he won’t be dancing with lovable goo, and he’s already made a bad Sci-Fi movie.

Variety reports that he’s been cast in an untitled period British comedy where’s he’ll play four different roles. If we’re lucky, there will be a dinner table scene in which all four characters sit around farting.

Director/Writer Scott Peter Capaldi’s film is a movie set in a movie, the story of an epic being shot in the 1930’s about the Jacobite rebellion of 1745. Ewan will play a 1930’s Hollywood star, the star’s stand in, and both of the characters that the two actors are portraying.

Finally free of Star Wars McGregor is wasting no time in moving on with his career. He’ll be starring this summer in The Island, a Michael Bay thriller and should start shooting Capaldi’s movie in the UK early next year.
