Always keen to follow the career of the underrated Rachel McAdams, I’ve dug up a little relevant casting news from The Hollywood Reporter.

Rachel McAdams, Claire Danes, and Luke Wilson are in negotiations to join the cast of Hating Her, a romantic comedy written and directed by Tom Bezuche. Already on board are Sarah Jessica Parker, Diane Keaton, and Dermot Mulrooney, which makes this sound like an old versus young deathmatch in the making. Keaton plays the family matriarch while Parker would be Danes’ presumably much older sister and Mulrooney as McAdams and Wilson’s brother.

Don’t get too attached to the title though, it’ll be changing. For now the thing is being referred to as the untitled Tom Bezuche project, reminding me of some other projects by people like Jamie Kennedy that did not make people laugh. That has nothing to do with this movie, I just like pointing out that Jamie Kennedy is not funny as often as possible, even when it doesn’t fit into the story.
