Secret Catwoman Poster Revealed For The Dark Knight Rises

Lately the folks over at Warner Bros. have been going poster crazy for Christopher Nolan's The Dark Knight Rises. In the last week alone they've delivered this new poster, these character posters, this first set of banners, and this second set of banners. But here's a fun fact: those were only the posters that the studio led us to. Apparently there's also a hidden poster available and it's just been discovered.

A reader over at Batman-News has pointed out that there is a QR Stamp at the bottom of the official poster that was released a few days ago. When you upload the stamp it takes to you the URL "http://www.thedarkknightrises.com/catwomanbig.jpg" which is a brand new Catwoman poster. Those who remember the marketing strategy for Nolan's The Dark Knight may remember that there were many posters that appeared as those they had been vandalized by The Joker. Nice to see that they are continuing that tradition with the sequel. Should we expect to see some Bane-marked posters in the future?

The Dark Knight Rises is the finale of Christopher Nolan's Batman trilogy. The film stars Christian Bale, Tom Hardy, Anne Hathaway, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Marion Cotillard, Morgan Freeman, Michael Caine, Gary Oldman and Juno Temple. Look for it when it hits theaters on July 20th.
