Before Star Wars: Episode III hit theaters, the big genre film success this year was Sin City, Robert Rodriguez’s adaptation of Frank Miller’s stories taking place in a bleak noir city. As has previously been announced, a follow up has been planned for the stylized film, but apparently more than just planning has been going on.
In an interview with the BBC, Rodriguez said that work has already started on the sequel, and even dropped a big piece of news: part of the second film will focus on the story “A Dame To Kill For”. That specific storyline unites fan favorite Marv (Mickey Rourke) and Dwight (Clive Owen) from the first film, which should be sure to please fanboys everywhere. No word on additional stories. Jeez, isn’t that enough for you vultures?
