The film isn’t set to make its official 3D debut until April 6th, however it was just posted on the Titanic Facebook page that some theaters will be hosting “a special free Valentine’s Day Screening” of the movie in select cities across the country. The February 14th date puts these early screenings nearly two months ahead of the official release, however cities are limited and so are tickets. While the April release of the movie coincides with the 100th anniversary of the sinking of the RMS Titanic, a Valentine’s Day early screening seems fitting given the film’s romantic focus with fictional characters Jack and Rose. The story has inspired many a girl to swoon (and likely cry), which could make it a great date-night movie for the romantic holiday.
