Part vampire, part "Roswell"-style teen angst melodrama, Twilight is the common tale of the new girl in town who happens to make friends with a vampire. The best-selling young adult novel is now getting the Hollywood treatment and we've got our first look at the trailer found on MySpaceTV (where else would you debut a pre-teen money grabber?)

The Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattison-starring film is slated to open on Dec. 12, and judging by the looks of the trailer, it's already forgettable -- just like director Catherine Hardwicke's other work (Thirteen, Lords of Dogtown).
