I’m still not sure what to make of Mike Myer’s new character the Guru Pitka, but he seems to be having a lot of fun with it. To promote the film Mike has filmed a series of mini videos in character as the Guru, to teach us all how to be peaceful and happy or… something. They’re called Mini-Sutras, and he’s loaded them on to the internet for your enjoyment.
The Love Guru hits theaters June 20th, and it features Mike’s first original character since Austin Powers. It’s about a Guru who leaves India, comes to America to seek fame and fortune, and finds himself using his guru powers to heal the marriage of a hockey player and his wife.
