The fifty-sixth annual Grammy Awards took place in Los Angeles this evening. The duo won both Record of the Year and Album of the Year, topping a slew of popular artists from different genres including Taylor Swift, Bruno Mars, Robin Thicke and Macklemore.
What did you do last night? If you happened to be one of the lucky two hundred who attended the Winter White Gala at Kensington Palace in London, the answer is “witnessed something too bizarre for words”. Jon Bon Jovi, accepting an award for all of his recent humanitarian work with homeless teens, took the stage to perform his all-time classic track “Livin’ On A Prayer”.
Katy Perry might be a big pop star, now, but it wasn’t so long ago that she was just as starstruck as the rest of us. In fact, one of the first times she was invited to the Grammys, she saved a few unlikely mementos as keepsakes. Those keepsakes included locks of hair from two famous females, Taylor Swift and Miley Cyrus.
The singer’s release of her hit album, Red, garnered a lot of attention, as did the subsequent tour and music video releases from the album. Regardless of the very public moment, Styles says he would still date Swift, and besides, he has his bros to back him.
It’s a little surprising that Swift wouldn’t ask Goulding to sing a song off of Red, but since that album was released nearly a year ago, I wouldn’t be the least bit surprised if she was a little tired of performing the same routine every night. Asking people to join her onstage probably allows her to shake things up a little bit and keep things feeling fresh. Plus, if I had to cover a Goulding song, “Anything Could Happen,” is a pretty fun one
That's some deep stuff right there. But what more can we expect from Billy Eichner, who spends at least some of his time running around the sidewalks of New York City

On Friday, the company opted to pull the shirt from shelves rather than deal with the ire of fans.

Thankfully, we finally have our answer, at least if we read between the lines.
