Queens of the Stone Age has spent the last few weeks teasing and debuting songs from the bandís newest album, ...Like Clockwork, which will hit shelves with some wild cover art on June 4. On Monday, the band announced the album will be available to hear several days early, thanks to an early listening deal with iTunes.
The band took to Twitter on Monday to announce the good news, noting that fans who werenít lucky enough to see the bandís show at the Wiltern in Los Angeles will be able to hear all 10 tracks from the new album, starting on May 28.
...Like Clockwork is the sixth studio album from Queens of the Stone Age and, like the bandís other album Songs For The Deaf, Dave Grohl has lent his drumming skills to the most recent endeavor. Other guest performers include Elton John, Nine Inch Nails' Trent Reznor and Jake Shears of the Scissor Sisters. From what we've been privy to, the new album sounds pretty great, and fans can listen and decide what they think about the brand new album very, very soon.
If you would rather check out the live version of the songs off of the new album, you can head over to NPR, as the outlet has made the Wiltern performance available to listen for free.
