Lil Wayne Health Scares Force 2 Emergency Plane Landings

Yesterday evening, Lil Wayne’s private plane was forced to make an unscheduled landing after the rapper had a health scare. Initial reports indicated the problem in question was a seizure. He was quickly taken to the hospital, but upon his release, his publicist released a statement saying the cause of what happened was actually a combination of dehydration and migraines. After receiving some treatment, the mogul was released and boarded a different flight this afternoon to get back to Los Angeles. Unfortunately, the second trip didn’t go any better.

According to TMZ, Wayne suffered what’s being described as a seizure while en route from Texas to LAX. The airplane was quickly rerouted to Louisiana, and once on the ground, the rapper was rushed to the hospital. No official statements have been released about what happened while Weezy was getting treatment, but he was released a few hours later.

Some people would probably be willing to laugh off one troubling incident, but two troubling incidents in less than twenty-four hours are a sign that something needs to change. Whether it’s epilepsy medication or an alteration to his lifestyle, Weezy needs to figure out where to go from here.

Pop Blend sends out its sincerest well-wishes to the rapper. He’s a talented performer and a brilliant businessman. Here’s to hoping he fixes whatever is wrong and remains in the rap game for many decades to come.
