Man Accused Of Stabbing Girlfriend While Daughter's Friend Watched On Ipad

New Hampshire police once nicknamed Christopher Piantedosi “The Remorseful Robber” because he stole a woman’s purse and then returned it with an extra ten dollars and an apology note. At the time, the incident was chalked up to his bi-polar disorder and wasn’t taken too seriously, but now Piantedosi is sitting in a Massachusetts jail cell charged with murdering his longtime girlfriend in front of their fifteen-year-old daughter’s friend who watched the entire incident on his iPad.

Police say the evening started rather normally with the teenager inside her room video chatting with a male acquaintance. After hearing her parents arguing in the other room, the girl reportedly went to the kitchen and noticed her dad grabbing a knife. Prosecutors claim the girl asked her father, “What are you going to kill mom or something?” She didn’t receive a response.

While Piantedosi was downstairs, his girlfriend Kristen Pulisciano reportedly went into her daughter’s room and blocked the door. The accused broke inside and began stabbing her while the daughter’s friend watched in horror on the video chat. Authorities descended on the residence after 911 calls, but Piantedosi had already fled. He later tried to commit suicide before turning himself into authorities.

According to The New York Daily News, the thirty-nine-year-old defendant was denied bail, and his trial should begin shortly. It’s unclear whether his daughter will testify, but regardless, Cinema Blend’s heart goes out to her, as well as everyone else affected by this tragedy.
