Premieres: Monday, September 22, 2008 at 8:30 p.m. EST Network: CBS Creator(s): Carter Bays, Craig Thomas and Pamela Fryman (Executive Producers) Starring: Josh Radnor, Jason Segel, Alyson Hannigan, Neil Patrick Harris, Cobie Smulders Website: CBS.comHow I Met Your Mother is a CBS comedy series that follows five friends living in New York. The series is narrated by an older version of Ted’s character, who is telling the story of how he met his wife to their kids. Since the show is on its fourth season, needless to say it’s quite a long story but it’s a hilarious one. Marshall and Lily are married and college friends of Ted’s. Robin is a news reporter whom Ted dated at the beginning (and middle) of the series but now they’re just friends. Barney is a money-loving womanizer who has embraced the single life.
Right now Ted’s dating Stella, whom he met when he had to get a tattoo removed from his lower back (long story). Many speculate that she might be the “mother.” Also, last season Robin and Barney slept together. According to CBS, here’s the description for the season premiere episode: “As Stella responds to Ted's proposal, Barney realizes that he's in love with Robin”
Barney’s in love with Robin? Like for real in love? I can’t wait to see how this plays out.
