After last night's episode of The Walking Dead, fans are left to wonder how Rick's group will proceed after suffering more losses. The preview for next week's episode ("Say the Word") shows what appears to be the next phase of Rick's reaction, something planned at Woodbury, and a trip for two characters.
Spoilers if you haven't seen last night's "Killer Within"!
With Lori and T-Dog dead and the new baby born, things are likely to be pretty emotional moving forward for Rick's group. The preview for next Sunday night's episode shows Rick grabbing an ax and looking angry. Is he going to lose it after Lori's death? It also looks like Maggie and Daryl are about to make an urgent supply run. And something's in the works at Woodbury.
The baby needs formula! Who didn't see that crisis coming? Not that I'm judging these people, because you have to figure that they've been doing their best, but why weren't they trying to gather some baby supplies (like formula) while out trying to find shelter? Sure, the ideal scenario would have had Lori surviving the childbirth and breast feeding her baby, but was there no back-up plan in place? A minor nitpick in the grand scheme of things, I suppose. It's always something, after all.
Meanwhile, Andrea and Michonne are still disagreeing. It also looks like Rick's losing it. We saw him grabbing an ax, and later attacking Glenn! Speaking of Glenn, he's featured in this clip, which has him conversing with the two prisoners.
Unsurprisingly, the two prisoners aren't being welcomed with open arms. But it's interesting to note that they're still around. Perhaps after Oscar shot Andrew, Rick decided these two guys earned their place within the group. Or maybe everyone's too grief-stricken to want to bother throwing these two guys out just yet. Regardless, they're around, and in addition to offering some words of sympathy, they're willing to help out. It's making me like and trust them, which I hope isn't a mistake.
