It looks like Elle isn’t the only blonde Woods. On April 28th meet Izzy and Annie Woods when MGM Home Entertainment releases Legally Blondes on DVD.

Becky and Milly Russo star as sisters Izzy and Annie Woods, cousins of Elle Woods. Just as Elle, the girls have a heightened sense of fashion, toy dog sidekicks and, of course, beautiful blonde hair. When Izzy and Annie move from England to California they work their charm and pink wardrobe to become the school’s most popular girls. When you’re getting the attention of every boy in class you’re bound to end up with some female enemies. Sure enough, the school’s top clique targets the blonde duo and attempts to frame them for a crime. What these power hungry preppies don’t know is that Izzy and Annie not only inherited their cousin’s style, but her cleverness and courtroom confidence as well.

Court is now in session. Can the third installment of Legally Blonde possibly compare to the originals? Due to its straight-to-DVD status, you’d assume the film would be a pathetic attempt to bank on the franchise’s success. But don’t judge a DVD by its brief synopsis. If you take a closer look at the details of this one, you’ll notice that the original Elle Woods, Reese Witherspoon, has taken on the producer role. With the exception of Four Christmases, Witherspoon always makes honorable decisions, so this film must have something worth our attention. Then again, Four Christmases did bank big at the box offices. More points for Reese!

Legally Blonde the musical may have crashed and burned on Broadway, but the films are still coming strong. The Legally Blondes DVD also comes with four behind-the-scenes featurettes and will cost you $29.98. Just forfeit two manicures and you’ve got it!
