Various in-game swag from BlizCon 2017.

BlizzCon 2017 is wrapping up but, throughout the past several days, Blizzard has made some huge announcements for their entire roster of games. For your convenience, we've gathered them all into one tidy rundown.

Blizzard said they'd be making some surprising announcements at this year's BlizzCon celebration, and now we know they weren't just trying to drum up hype. From Overwatch and StarCraft II to Heroes of the Storm and World of Warcraft, they've delivered the goods.

Rather than break everything down into a dozen different posts, we decided to pull everything together for one big announcement blowout. Get ready for what's shaping up to be another fantastic year of gaming with Blizzard.

StarCraft II

*StarCraft II will go free-to-play starting Nov. 14, with gratis access to the Wings of Liberty campaign, ranked ladder play and all co-op commanders up to level five.

*A new co-op commander is being introduced, and it's actually two people, Mira Han and Matt Horner. The former utilizes fast ground units while the latter commands powerful air units.

Heroes of the Storm

*A pair of new heroes will be introduced into Blizzard's MOBA, including Hanzo (Overwatch) and Alexstrasza (WoW).

*Additional tweaks, including performance-based matchmaking, voice chat and the 2018 gameplay update.

Hearthstone

*The new expansion, Kobolds & Catacombs, is set to bring 135 new cards to the game and a whole bunch of extra missions to the game in December. This includes a new single-player game mode called Dungeon Runs.

*On Nov. 6, all players will receive some free legendary cards to celebrate the launch of the new expansion.

*A new "Recruit" ability is being introduced. When a card is played with this ability, a random minion from your deck will also be summoned alongside it.

*If you're super excited for the new expansion, you can pre-purchase a 50-pack bundle of cards for $50 right this very minute on PC. Do that, and you'll also receive a free card back to show off during competitive play. On Nov. 6, the pre-purchase option will be available on iOS and Android versions of Hearthstone, too.

Overwatch

*The big news here is that Blizzard has decided to just give into the zaniness of Overwatch and introduce a new map that's based on their other games. This will be an amusement park battleground, with sections themed after Diablo, StarCraft and Warcraft.

*Along with a new map, a new Hero is entering the competition. Get ready to play as Moira, a life-draining geneticist who will be added to the roster "soon."

World of Warcraft

*The latest expansion for WoW, called "Battle for Azeroth," is on the way. After fighting side by side in the latest expansion, the Alliance and Horde have rekindled their long-running battle.

*Possibly the coolest announcement of the show, Blizzard is finally bringing back classic servers. When the new expansion goes live, players will also be able to jump into a loving recreation of the first version of World of Warcraft, which should provide an insane nostalgia trip for long-time fans of the series.

*World of Warcraft, at long last, is getting voice chat.
