Nicolas Games announced today that their horror-survival, post-apocalyptic, third-person shooter, Afterfall: Insanity, is currently available on the cloud gaming service OnLive. In addition to this, gamers who may be leery about buying the game off OnLive can test out Afterfall with a free 30 minute demo.

Afterfall: Insanity is a game made in a similar vein to EA and Visceral Games' Dead Space. Unlike Dead Space gamers won't be playing an engineer this time out, instead players will assume the role of a psychiatrist, Albert Tokaj, trying to treat post-apocalyptic residents living in a shelter, who are succumbing to a mind-altering disease from being trapped in the underground shelter for too long. Things really get out of hand when Tokaj finds himself falling to the same symptoms of psychosis as his patients. The game prompts players to explore the dark recesses of the shelter and try hard to stay alive and avoid being eviscerated by the inhabitants.

You can pick up a copy of Afterfall: Insanity for the Xbox 360, PS3 or PC. If you don't have a home console or a gaming rig, you can buy a digital copy of the game from OnLive right now.

If you're still not convinced about whether the game is worth buying or not, feel free to learn more by paying a visit to the Official Website.
