Namco Bandai announced today that they've finished work on Armored Core V and sent it off to the manufacturers. The mech combat game will be arriving as scheduled on March 20th in North America and on the 23rd in Europe.

Armored Core V allows you to build your own custom mech with various unlockable parts. Itakes a step back from the "twitch" gameplay of recent installments and focuses instead on strategy. Your success will be determined by your use of tactics and terrain.

ACV will also feature team-based online battles. Two teams of five will fight to complete a series of objectives. One player acts as a commander and issues orders to his teammates.

“We all know FromSoftware has a great track record of developing quality, highly immersive and addictive games, and Armored Core V will continue that tradition with new layers of strategy,” said Carlson Choi, Vice President of Marketing at Namco Bandai Games America.

If you're looking to pre-order the game, you've got two options. GameStop is offering a "Heavy Assault Pack" while Amazon has a "Recon Pack." Both give you bonus parts and weapons for your mech.
