Blur fans may never get a sequel to the arcade racing game. Developer Bizarre Creation's shutdown seems imminent.

Activision has been shopping the studio around since November. Though there was some reported interested by other companies, no one bit. According to Develop, Activision recommended to Bizarre that they cease operations. It's expected that Bizarre will do just that.

Activision purchased Bizarre in 2007. At the time the Liverpool-based developer was highly sought-after due to their work on Project Gotham Racing and Geometry Wars. However, their new IP Blur did meet Activision's sales expectations.
