Call of Duty: Black Ops map Nuketown will be returning in Black Ops 2. However, there's one key difference in the BO2 version: it's crawling with zombies inclined to eat you and your friends' brains.
"There goes the neighborhood," read a tweet from the official COD Twitter account. Attached was a picture of a sign that said "Welcome to Nuketown Zombies."
The Nuketown map is a mock suburban neighborhood used for testing nuclear weapons. In the zombie version, you'll presumably defend some nice house from an undead assault. The original Nuketown map would end matches with a nuclear explosion; perhaps they'll incorporate that tradition into this updated edition as well.
Black Ops 2 previously announced that an updated version of the map, Nuketown 2025, will be released for the game's competitive multiplayer modes. Nuketown 2025 will be a pre-order bonus and also sold as post-launch DLC. It's not clear whether Nuketown Zombies will be separate from the base game as well.
Activision will release Black Ops 2 on November 13th worldwide.
