Treyarch is providing gamers another incentive to pre-order Call Of Duty: Black Ops 2. Reserving a copy at participating retailers across the world will allow you to get double XP gains in multiplayer for a limited time.

This double XP will apply for the first weekend after the game's launch. It begins on November 16th and will run through November 18th. Presumably this offer applies to PS3, Xbox 360 and PC owners.

The main pre-order incentive is Nuketown 2025. Nuketown 2025, an updated version of a popular map from the first Black Ops, will be available for download on day one to pre-order customers. Treyarch has yet to show off the map, but says that it's been "re-imagined in a 50's depiction of the 'Model Home of the Future,'" which explains the retro/futuristic look from the teaser image.

While an XP boost might not be as flashy as a new map, it's still a nice incentive. Black Ops 2's multiplayer revolves around a deep progression system so you could get a leg-up on the competition with this double XP weekend. I also appreciate the fact that I won't need to ruin my diet to get access to this weekend event.
