Treyarch is making some modifications to the way Black Ops 2 will be played. For one, they're changing Killstreaks into Scorestreaks. Why? Because they've finally decided to reward players for playing smart in specific game modes, as opposed to rewarding the guy who gets 100 kills in CTF match but doesn't score a single point when it comes to actually capturing the flag.

In a lot of FPS titles the biggest problem with a scoring system is that oftentimes the most useful player isn't always the player with the most kills. This is a highly debated thing in many FPS titles because in modes like Demolition or Domination, winning or losing is based on points tallied or actions taken that can determine the outcome of the game without anyone dying. Well, Treyarch wants to finally reward these players who contribute to team victories even when they aren't getting kills. Check it out in the video interview below from GameTrailers.

Well that should make a bunch of gamers feel better about the multiplayer aspects of Black Ops 2, right? At least Treyarch seems to be addressing a lot of the key issues that people had with Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, Call of Duty: Black Ops and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3. So maybe this time they landed on the perfect combination with a revamped perk system and the new Scorestreaks.

If the perks, streak system and character progression still isn't to your liking, at least there are still zombies. And everyone apparently loves zombies, right? Right?

If you still can't get enough of the fast-as-Randy-Travis-driving-drunk-gunplay and the small maps coined for drop-in and drop-out gameplay, then you can look for Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 to launch for the Xbox 360, PS3 and PC this fall. Need more info? Feel free to hit up the Official Website.
