The Uprising Map Pack for Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 will debut on PC and Mac next month, Activision announced today. Uprising, the second map pack for Black Ops 2, provides five new online battlegrounds for players.

Four of the maps in Uprising are for standard competitive play. In Magma, players will fight it out as a nearby volcano erupts. Vertigo is set in a state-of-the-art high-rise in India. Studio takes place in a Hollywood movie lot. The fourth map, Encore, brings players to a London music festival.

The final map of Uprising is "Mob of the Dead." In this zombie co-op map, the undead have overrun the prison island of Alcatraz. Four gangsters, played by actors like Ray Liotta and Joe Pantoliano, must work together to fight these zombies and escape the island.

Uprising will be available on the PS3 and PC starting on May 16th. This is exactly one month after the Xbox 360 launch of the content. Microsoft and Activision have a long-running partnership that states all COD downloadable content will hit the Xbox 360 at least a month before other platforms.

The Uprising Map Pack is priced at $15. Purchasing the $49.99 Season Pass will provide you access to Uprising, Revolution and the two other planned map packs.
