Most tradeshows have special trailers made for them that make the game look like it’s worth a million bucks, and only one trailer stood above and beyond the rest during all the tradeshows this year and that trailer belongs to the upcoming Eidos Montreal project that looks better than most movies and it’s called Deus Ex: Human Revolution.
The following E3 2010 trailer for Deus Ex is a tour de force, containing non-stop story thrills and builds up nicely to a moderate action-oriented ending. The entire trailer feels more like a movie spot than anything remotely related to a video game…heck, I can’t even imagine how they’re going squeeze eight hours out of the project, but regardless, Goldentooth Creative and Visual Works pulled out all the stops for the “The Human Revolution”, giving gamers both a trailer that’s as exciting as it is enticing.
Nevertheless, the competition of tradeshow trailers was pretty stiff and Deus Ex faced off against the likes of tradeshow-specific videos from Spec Ops: Line and Assassin’s Creed Brotherhood. Nevertheless, Eidos hit the nail on the head with “The Human Revolution” trailer during E3 and it’s the reason why it’s the coolest tradeshow trailer of the year.
